Dear Luis Fernando, indeed, we had the only JEEP grandchildren litter in Europe in 1998 with one of our RED PIT daughter dogs named RED OKLAHOMA. At that time there were still two sons of JEEP still alive and reproducing, therefore, we went with RED OKLAHOMA to Los Angeles (USA) and covered it with an extraordinary specimen direct son of JEEP called CLYDE.

We spent some time developing this genetic or blood, which did not convince us, since the part of JEEP that excited us was the part of its mother HONEYBUNCH, 100% Carver, which was a dog bred by Maurice Carver. On the side of JEEP's dad, it had none of the Carver dogs, it was 50% Colby dogs and the other 50% Loposay dogs. From our particular experience and even knowing the good genetic quality that these animals possessed, we drew the conclusion that it was in that place of JEEP's father where something was not going well at all, at least for our liking.

This other animal that you can see inside of the FIAPBT Pedigree Online link was our JEEP II, popularly known as CLINTON, we imported it from the Santa Ana, CA, USA and the animal had a very high % of JEEP, indeed, at that time it was the animal whose % of JEEP was the higier that ran through its veins.

After thinking about it a lot and with a lot of pain, we decided to abandon that JEEP genetics from our breeding, which had cost us so much effort to introduce into our kennel, in this way to focus fully on the purest possible breeding of dogs bred by Maurice Carver, where we are very satisfied today in 2021 enjoying in a big way observing the extraordinary results that our animals give us by having that high percentage of Carver dogs.

After almost 40 years of breeding with this noble and wonderful breed dog, we have come to the conclusion that the higher the % of the genetics of our animals with respect to the genetics of Carver dogs, the better they come out in all of the Important aspects to take into account, especially in Balance, Physiognomy, Determination and Intelligence and the latter, we consider to be the key, which opens the rest of the doors of the Palace of Knowledge with their respective Possibilities.

Even understanding that JEEP genetics is very good, this was the fundamental reason for rejecting JEEP genetics in our breeding, since we are quite perfectionists and very demanding when trying to get the best of the best in our breeding, that being the dynamic in which we continue to enjoy and work in nowadays.

This was a cross that Maurice Carver would have liked to make, given the valuable and extraordinary genetic combination that both specimens possessed from the best dogs of his entire life as a breeder, a cross with a total guarantee of success in all important aspects to have in account from both dogs, but due to various circumstances, including his unexpected death, Maurice Carver could not materialize it, a real shame...
