My friend Ruben ASKED MY OPINION about breeding a litter with a close inbreeding pair:

"I'd like to pair them With “BLACK WINKIE”, but it would be quite close in the future, Right?"

ANSWER:

"Wow, Ruben!" You've read my mind about the breeding duties I plan to undertake in two years 🙂 Because that cross you're talking about is exactly the same one I have planned to do with my “BLACK TRUENO II” (full brother to these two puppies in the video) and my "BLACK TRUENA” (sister from the same litter as your “BLACK WINKIE”), take a look at the FIAPBT Pedigree Online for this cross, which is the same one you were referring to: https://www.fiapbtpedigree.com/imprimir_ficha.php?idm=en&criterio=327373

What I mean to say my friend, is that besides the coincidence, it goes without saying that if you finally decide to acquire one of these puppies and breed it with your “BLACK WINKIE” someday, my opinion is clear: you'll get some extraordinary puppies.

You're absolutely right to consider the risk that this future cross would pose due to their rather closed genetic makeup. However, there's a factor that makes this handicap, instead of being a disadvantage, quite the opposite, this factor is NUIT, the Black Budrax's mother. NUIT is a bitch that is also almost 100% Carver dogs, but without the genetic ramification of the Boudreaux dogs, which also come from Carver dogs and this makes the big difference in an inbred cross like this one compared to others without that factor, since NUIT is quite concentrated inside of the genetics of that inbred Boudreaux dogs and she was a reproducer with a lot of genetic dominance, extraordinarily oxygenating the blood or genetics of the Boudreaux dogs from that and other similar crosses we work with in breeding at Villa Liberty Kennels, as you well know.

Just like the genetics of the next American ADBA Champion “LENNOX BLACK”, which passes under the “NUIT” Factor, all our Black dogs at Villa Liberty kennels in recent times, which come from Carver dogs and then pass through Boudreaux dogs, also pass under the “NUIT” Factor, which does a fantastic job of oxygenating the closed genetics of our Boudreaux doggies today, managing to considerably increase the qualities and virtues that they already had inherited from their ancestors before using this “NUIT” Factor.

Few people know that when someone seriously undertakes the project of improving any dog breed, they have no choice but to use Inbreeding to achieve their goal, guided by the experience and knowledge they have acquired over decades in the breeding art.
